Brassmasters’ 2020 Monthly Outdoor Precision Pistol & CMP-EIC Matches

General: All NRA Matches are 1800s, consisting of a 900 (90 rounds) .22 Match & 900 (90 rounds) Center Fire Match; 1800 is the aggregate of both matches. CMP Matches will consist of EiC Service Pistol & .22 Rimfire Matches. The range is equipped with electronically timed, pneumatic turning targets. Empty Chamber Indicators, (ECls) hearing and eye protection are mandatory.

Dates & Times: All matches will be held on the 1st Saturday of the following months: May 2nd June 6t August 1st & October 3rd 2020
Registration: Pre-registration is not required, these will be walk-up registration on the day of the match Registration begins at 9:30a.m., firing begins promptly at 10:00a.m.; lunch break between .22 & Center Fire Matches. Bring your own lunch; however, cold drinks will be available.

Eligibility: Open to all competitors, NRA membership is not required to participate and membership in a CMP affiliated club is not required to participate in the CMP Matches. New shooters are welcome and urged to participate.

Rules: Current NRA & CMP Rules will govern the competition. Competitors will also act as scorers and scoring overlays may be used. Should a competitor challenge a shot value, a range officer will provide a scoring plug; however, should the competitor continue to challenge the shot value, he/she will place
$1.00 on the challenged target and it will be replaced and assigned to the appointed Jury Members for adjudication and the match will continue. If the competitor’s challenge is upheld by the Jury, the competitor’s challenge fee will be returned.

Classification: Current NRA Precision Pistol Classification Cards and NRA Temporary Score Record Books will determine classification. New shooters will compete in the Tyro class.

Entry Fees: $25 for the full 1800 Aggregate or $15 for one gun. $4.50 of each competitor’s entry fee is remitted to the NRA. EiC Service Pistol & .22 Rimfire Match Entry Fees are $20 for each match, $15 of each competitor’s entry fee is remitted to the CMP. Junior competitors NRA 1800 entry fee $4.5.

Awards: Cash awards will be given according to the number of competitors. At the discretion of the Match Sponsor, if less than five competitors in a class, that class may be combined with the next higher class, except for the Master Class. CMP Leg Points and match medals will be awarded by CMP, provided the match is a legitimate match as defined by CMP, which requires, at a minimum, six (6) non­distinguished competitors. CMP Achievement Pins will be awarded at the match.

Course of Fire: .22 Caliber & Center Fire 900 aggregates consisting of 30 shots slow fire at 50 yds, using B-6 Target, 60 shots timed & rapid fire at 25 yds, using B-8 Target. Service Pistol & .22 Rimfire EiC Matches will fire the National Match Course consisting of one (1) 50 yd slow fire B-6 Target and a 25yd timed and a 25yd rapid fire B-8 Target Important Note: Before Service Pistol & .22 Rimfire EiC Matches commence, it will be confirmed that there are six (6) non-distinguished competitors entered in the respective Leg Match or the match will not be held.
