NRA 2700 Tournaments are approved by the NRA and your scores will count towards your NRA Precision Pistol classification. Current NRA Precision Pistol rules apply and can be found online at http://rulebooks.nra.org/

DATES for 2020 ‐ First Sunday of every month, registration at 8:30am, firing starts at 9am.

ENTRY‐ Any competitor may enter. NRA membership is not required. DPC membership is not required. Match is limited to 36 competitors. Out‐of‐town competitors should contact the Match Director to secure a place on the firing line. 2700 Match fee is $20, single match only fee is $15.

PISTOLS ALLOWED: 22LR Pistol Match ‐ Any 22lr pistol with a trigger pull of at least 2 pounds.

Center‐Fire Pistol Match ‐ Any center‐fire pistol, .32 caliber or larger, with a trigger pull of at least 2.5 pounds.

.45 Caliber Pistol Match ‐ Any .45 caliber pistol with a trigger pull of at least 3.5 pounds, revolvers 2.5 pounds.

Pistol Sights‐ Any sights, including red dots and scopes, except laser.

COURSE OF FIRE‐ NRA 2700 Tournament is the aggregate of the 22lr Pistol Match, Center‐fire Pistol Match, and the .45 Caliber Pistol Match. Each pistol will fire a 90 shot Aggregate Match which consists of a 20 shot Slow Fire Match, a 30 shot National Match Course (10 shots slow fire, 10 shots timed fire, 10 shots rapid fire), a 20 shot Timed Fire Match, and a 20 shot Rapid Fire Match. All shots will be fired standing, single handed, with no support. Club Matches are not NRA approved and the course of fire is the Match Directors choice.

TARGETS‐ The slow fire match will be fired on NRA B6 targets at 50 yards. The timed fire and rapid fire match will be fired on NRA B8 targets at 25 yards, with turning targets.

AWARDS‐ No awards.

SAFETY‐ All competitors must wear eye and ear protection. Please keep all pistols cased until the start of the preparation period, and unloaded until the command to load has been given. Empty Chamber Indicators (ECI) will be used. All safety devices of the pistol must function properly.

LOCATION‐ Dallas Pistol Club is located in the North Dallas suburb of Carrollton, on Beltline between Luna and MacArthur. The Precision Pistol Range, with 36 covered firing points and ample bench space provided, is the second range on the left after passing through the gate, with parking directly in front.
