Miami Rifle & Pistol Club – NRA – Precision Pistol 2700/1800/900 Matches

An event every month that begins at 9:00 am on day Third of the month, repeating until October 17, 2021
Dates: April 18, May 16, June 20, July 18, Aug 15, Sept 19, Oct 17, 2021
Range: Miami Rifle & Pistol Club, 5462 Stonelick-Williams Corner Rd, Batavia, Ohio 45103
Classification: NRA classifications; High Master, Master, Expert, Sharpshooter, and Marksmen will be used.
Unclassified competitors are welcome to enter which starts your official NRA classification
Format: Match consists of 270 shots fired in 3 stages of 90 shots each.
1st stage .22 caliber, 2nd stage Center Fire (CF) and 3rd stage.45 caliber.
You can also shoot .22 caliber for all three stages.
Entries: This is an open match; NRA membership is not required. Entries will be limited to one relay of 25 competitors. It’s preferred that you reserve a spot by emailing the Match Director; Ross Bowman: firstname.lastname@example.org. Day of entries will be accepted up to that limit. Match Director reserves the right to alter the match schedule in accordance with weather and range conditions.
If you are not interested in NRA classification, winning some cash back, or shooting @ 50 yards we offer a Recreational (Padawan) class just for you. The Recreational (Padawan) class will fire all shots @ 25 yards and you can choose to shoot the full 270 shot, 180 shot, or 90 shot matches. NRA and Recreational (Padawan) entries can fire all matches with .22 pistols. Competitors firing the entire match will be given preference over those firing only part of the match.
Match Fee: Due to the current ammo shortage, we welcome shooters that do not want to shoot the full 270 shot match. This year we offer NRA sanctioned 1800 & 900 match formats as well and non-NRA Recreational (Padawan) matches.
- NRA 2700 – $28.00 non-member, $25.00 member
- NRA 1800 – $25.00 non-member, $22.00 member
- NRA 900 – $22.00 non-member, $19.00 member
- Recreational (Padawan) 2700 – $10.00 non-member, $8.00 member
- Recreational (Padawan) 1800 – $8.00 non-member, $6.00 member
- Recreational (Padawan) 900 – $6.00 non-member, $4.00 member
Starting Time: Registration is between 8:00 AM – 8:50 AM. First shots will be fired @ 9:00AM. Please arrive early to register and set up your targets. The range goes hot at 8:55 AM to allow time to ready your firearm.
Rules: Current NRA Rules for approved Tournaments shall apply. Competitors will score and replace targets. Plugging of targets by Match Official only. Shooters may use overlays. Challenges must be made within one hour of the posting of the preliminary bulletin and must be accompanied by a fee of $3.00. If the challenge is sustained the fee will be returned.
Scoring: Competitors will score the target on their left. Competitors are responsible for the accuracy of their score card, signing and turning it in to the Match Director.
Food: Bring your own lunch for a 15-minute break between the 2nd stage and 3rd stage.
General: Every effort will be made to complete the match. Parking is available adjacent to the Firing Line. Empty Chamber Indicators (ECI) are required, rule 3.21.

Payout is proportional to the number of entrants in each NRA classification and in each Match listed above. Cash awards will be paid at the next month’s match.
An award will be given to the Winner in each match, in any class with 4 or more competitors.
A class with less than 4 competitors will be combined with the next higher class working from the lowest class up.
A Master Class with less than 4 competitors will compete for winner only.
Four or more unclassified competitors will make up a class. Three or less unclassified competitors will compete as Masters and shoot for winner only.
