Red Cliffs R&P Range 1200

The match this month has been moved to Sunday, Sept. 19, ’21 due to the Ironman Triathlon event on Saturday and the subsequent closure of the range.
The RCRPR will host a Match Pistol program on the third Saturday of each month in 2021. The program will follow the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) Match Pistol rules and will be conducted in an abbreviated 1200-point format (120 shots).
Saturday, March 13, 2021 @ 3:00 p.m. or Thursday, March 18, 2021 @ 3:00 p.m.
If you plan to participate in the program, please attend one of the meetings above (especially if you have not participated in this type of program before). Safety procedures, program rules, equipment, range commands, target scoring etc. will be reviewed at the meeting.
Start: Saturday, March 20, 2021 First Relay: 9:00 a.m.
Second Relay: 11:30 p.m. (if enough participants)
Match will be held on the 3rd Saturday of each month at the times listed above.

Sign-up and Fees
Please register online (one time & free) for the match at the Precision Shooting Matches (PSM) (https://precisionshootingmatches.com/register/competitors/) website, then RSVP for the match. The PSM website will be used for scorekeeping and shooter statistics will be accessible on the website to registered participants.
There is a limit of 8 total participants per relay, due to range limitations. Walk-ins are welcome provided there is an open lane available.
Program is open to RCRPR members and non-members.

FIREARMS: Rimfire (rule 4.2.2): Any safe .22 Long Rifle rimfire handgun (Semi-Auto or Revolver) may be used.
Centerfire (rule 4.2.3): Any safe .32 or larger caliber handgun (Semi-Auto or Revolver) may be used.
SIGHTS (rule 4.2.1): Metallic, telescopic or electronic sights are permitted with the exception of a sight that projects an image onto the target (e.g. laser sights).
POSITION (rule 5.1.1): All shooting is done from the standing position using one hand, and no support is allowed.
Course of Fire
“1200” point format, first “600” with Rimfire pistol, second “600” with a Centerfire pistol. The entire 1200 match may be shot with a rimfire pistol, but will be scored separately as “22 only” match.
The “600” tournament consists of 60 shots fired in 10 shot series (six targets) as follows:
SLOW FIRE MATCH (50 yards):
- Two Slow Fire NRA B-6 targets, 10 shot strings, 10 minutes/string, 20 shots total)
TIMED FIRE (25 yards):
- Two Timed & Rapid-Fire NRA B-8 targets, 5 shot strings, 2 strings/target, 20 seconds/string, 20 shots total)
RAPID FIRE (25 yards):
- Two Timed & Rapid-Fire NRA B-8 targets, 5 shot strings, 2 strings/target, 10 seconds/string, 20 shots total)
Essential Equipment to Bring:
Pistols (with two or more magazines), 90 rounds of ammunition for each pistol (extra for alibi strings), eye & ear protection, spotting scope or binoculars, target stapler (with staples), clipboard, pen, chair & drinking water.
